“Set a guard, O Lord, over my mouth; keep watch over the door of my lips! Do not let my heart incline to any evil” (Ps 141:3-4a).

The tongue is “a whole wicked world” (James 3:6) and it is from our heart that evil proceeds (cf. Mt 15:19). This is what Sacred Scripture tells us, with its incomparable sobriety and without beating about the bush. “Who can discern his errors?” (Ps 19:12). Read More
