“In your wisdom you have fitted human to (…) govern the world in holiness and saving justice and in honesty of soul to dispense fair judgement” (Wis 9:2a,3).
The Father not only entrusted to our care the irrational Creation, but also the world, which is to be shaped by humankind. If with regard to our responsibility towards creation the Father emphasised that we should treat it with wisdom, for the administration of the world He mentions holiness and saving justice as criteria. Those qualities which our Father possesses in fullness – holiness and justice – and which we can receive from Him, He wants to see reflected in us when we assume responsibility in the human world.
