THE FATHER CALLS US TO CONVERSION

251st Meditation

Our Father calls us to return home….

Conversion means to open ourselves to God’s love and goodness, to turn away from wrong or useless ways, to turn our hearts to the Lord.

God’s heart is open to us! He never closes it and is always ready to welcome us when we seek Him. A single word from a sincere heart, a single “You are my Father”, has the power to deliver us from eternal damnation. Read More

TRUE FRIENDS

248th Meditation

Perhaps we tend to be more aware of Jesus’ love for us people, and with good reason we say that we can never thank Him enough for what He has done for our salvation. Read More

“THE ALMIGHTY HAS DONE GREAT THINGS FOR ME” (LK 1:49)

242nd Meditation

“The Almighty has done great things for me: holy is His name” (Lk 1:49).

How much our Heavenly Father is pleased with the Virgin Mary, who fully accepted His call and thus became the Mother of His Son! Could we imagine a more worthy choice of God than the Virgin of Nazareth, who was ready to give her consent to the enormous grace which the Lord showed her and to cooperate with her “fiat” in the plan of salvation?
