Completing the Race

2 Tim 4:6-8.17-18

‘As for me, my life is already being poured away as a libation, and the time has come for me to depart. I have fought the good fight to the end; I have run the race to the finish; I have kept the faith; all there is to come for me now is the crown of uprightness which the Lord, the upright judge, will give to me on that Day; and not only to me but to all those who have longed for his appearing. But the Lord stood by me and gave me power, so that through me the message might be fully proclaimed for all the gentiles to hear; and so I was saved from the lion’s mouth. The Lord will rescue me from all evil attempts on me, and bring me safely to his heavenly kingdom. To him be glory for ever and ever. Amen.’

False prophets

Mt 7:15-20

‘Beware of false prophets who come to you disguised as sheep but underneath are ravenous wolves. You will be able to tell them by their fruits. A sound tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor a rotten tree bear good fruit.

God’s measure

Mt 7:1-5

Do not judge, and you will not be judged; because the judgements you give are the judgements you will get, and the standard you use will be the standard used for you. And how dare you say to your brother, “Let me take that splinter out of your eye,” when, look, there is a great log in your own? Hypocrite! Take the log out of your own eye first, and then you will see clearly enough to take the splinter out of your brother’s eye. Read More

THE PROPITIOUS TIME

375th Meditation

“The time is propitious, do not lose this love which is being offered to your hearts so tangibly” (Father’s message to Sr. Eugenia Ravasio).

But in addition to this time of grace for mankind in general, the Lord grants us again and again moments of particular grace. Read More

TO BE CONCERNED FOR THE SALVATION OF SOULS

374th Meditation

Having completed the series of meditations on how to know, honour and love the Heavenly Father more deeply, it is fitting to hear from His own mouth why He asks these three things of us. In the Message of God the Father to Sister Eugenia Ravasio, it says:

“I am asking of man what he is able to give Me: his confidence, his love and his gratitude. It is not because I need My creature and his adoration that I desire to be known, honoured and loved; the only reason why I am stooping down to him is to save him and give him a share in My glory. Read More
