Acts 15:1-6

Then some men came down from Judaea and taught the brothers, ‘Unless you have yourselves circumcised in the tradition of Moses you cannot be saved.’ This led to disagreement, and after Paul and Barnabas had had a long argument with these men it was decided that Paul and Barnabas and others of the church should go up to Jerusalem and discuss the question with the apostles and elders. I HAVE COME TO MAKE MYSELF KNOWN

327th Meditation

“The missionaries have spoken and still speak of God as far as they know Him, but I assure you, you do not know Me as I am, because I am coming to proclaim Myself the Father of all” (Father’s message to Sister Eugenia Ravasio).

Here, the Father explains one of the reasons why He wants to make Himself known to mankind through Mother Eugenia Ravasio. Evidently, the true image of our Father has not yet sufficiently penetrated the souls of people. The devil has managed that an imperfect, distorted and false image of God persists, even in those Christians who already follow the Lord. Read More

Jn 14:21-26

Whoever holds to my commandments and keeps them is the one who loves me; and whoever loves me will be loved by my Father, and I shall love him and reveal myself to him. ‘Judas – not Judas Iscariot – said to him, ‘Lord, what has happened, that you intend to show yourself to us and not to the world?’ Jesus replied: Anyone who loves me will keep my word, and my Father will love him, and we shall come to him and make a home in him. NOTE: Since in the last few days we have meditated several times on the Gospel read today in the Novus Ordo (Jn 14:1-12), we will take on this occasion the Gospel according to the traditional calendar.

Jn 14:1-6

Now I am going to the one who sent me. Not one of you asks, ‘Where are you going?’ Yet you are sad at heart because I have told you this. Still, I am telling you the truth: it is for your own good that I am going, because unless I go, the Paraclete will not come to you; but if I go, I will send him to you. Read More

Acts 13:44-52

The next Sabbath almost the whole town assembled to hear the word of God. When they saw the crowds, the Jews, filled with jealousy, used blasphemies to contradict everything Paul said. Then Paul and Barnabas spoke out fearlessly. ‘We had to proclaim the word of God to you first, but since you have rejected it, since you do not think yourselves worthy of eternal life, here and now we turn to the gentiles.
