THE GLORY OF JESUS

“Father, glorify me with that glory I had with you before ever the world existed” (Jn 17:5).

The time has come for Jesus to return to the Father. He has fulfilled His mission and has left to His own all that they need to advance towards eternity and to reach the eternal dwelling that He is preparing for them in His Father’s House (cf. Jn 14:2-3).

The time has come for Jesus to receive again the fullness of the glory which He had with the Father before the world existed. Indeed, for a short time “He was made less than the angels” (Heb 2:9), having emptied Himself and taking the form of a slave, becoming as human beings are (Phil 2:7).

Now is the moment when the Father exalts Him, giving Him the Name which is above all other names (Phil 2:9) and putting everything under His feet (Eph 1:22). Through the Cross, He accepts us as His beloved children.

This is the time when the kingdom of darkness comes to an end and the glorified Lord prepares His return.

It is the time when our Father purifies His Church, so that, as a holy and immaculate Bride, she may go in haste to meet her returning Lord (cf. Eph 5:27).

It is the time when the Father wants to bring home all men, and especially Israel, His “first love”. It is the time when He invites all mankind to the “Supper of the Lamb” (cf. Rev 19:9). It is the time when our Father wants to melt the ice that surrounds the hearts of men, so that they may recognise His glory and that of His only begotten Son.

It is the time when God brings about the separation of the spirits. It is God’s time!
