“You still think too little of my goodness and my love” (Father’s message to Sister Eugenia Ravasio).
We can interpret these words of our Heavenly Father in different ways. On the one hand, it is a statement that recalls Jesus’ frequent rebukes of His disciples for their lack of faith (see, for example, Mt 16:9). Surely our Father wants us to understand that His goodness and love are immeasurable and that it grieves Him greatly that we do not yet know it well enough.
“I long to fill you more and more with blessings. That is why I am constantly offering you new graces and reminding you of the graces you are letting pass without making use of them for your souls” (Message of the Father to Sr. Eugenia Ravasio).
“Give to the Most High as he has given, and as generously as your hand has found” (Sir 35:10).
What a wonderful invitation to honor our Father and live in a loving relationship with Him! It is a matter of becoming ever more aware of His goodness and responding to it with generosity. As we follow this wise direction, many things will change.
“God has not commanded any one to be ungodly, and he has not given any one permission to sin” (Ecclus 15:20).
Let us not be deceived by those who would teach us falsehoods and mislead people, thus relativizing the truth.
“God allows all kinds of difficulties for those who wish to serve Him, but as long as they entrust themselves to Him, He never allows them to succumb under the burden” (St. Francis de Sales).
“When I find myself with an open heart, I want to give everything to it and through it bestow gifts on other people” (Inner Word).
“If you cling unwaveringly to Me, if you reject with all strength all thoughts that confuse you and anchor your heart unfathomably in Me, then it will no longer be you who live, but I will live in you and will have become your life” (Inner Word).
“Let me find you always watchful, so that I may count on you at all times” (Inner Word).
Our Father wants to place us totally at His service. To do this, He needs us to be attentive, that is, focused on Him. Therefore, it is important that we work on our interior disposition so that we are ready to receive all that our Father wants to entrust to us.
“I am coming to you, My creatures, to open My paternal Breast, filled with love for you, My children” (The Father’s message to Sr. Eugenia Ravasio).
“If you live in My love, I will give you everything through My Holy Spirit and this will be your radiant light” (Inner Word).
