UNUTTERABLE TORRENTS OF GRACE

“In Eucharistic adoration, you open yourselves to the inexpressible torrents of grace that flow toward you from the Heart of God” (Interior Word).

If we ask ourselves how to enter into deeper contact with the ineffable mystery of God’s love, these words give us a guideline.

By remaining in silence before the Tabernacle or the exposed Blessed Sacrament, the love of the Lord can penetrate deeply within us. We only have to be there and allow ourselves to be filled by the gentle presence of the Lord, which is like the sun that shines and warms us. It is like the tender embrace of our Father and His Son, present in the Holy Host. When we go to the Blessed Sacrament, we will notice that the Lord was already waiting for us, as He always does.

The torrents of grace that flow from silent Eucharistic adoration are immeasurable, and in this way the Father allows us to already taste eternity. These streams of grace flow to us from Christ’s sacrifice, and in adoration we are invited to receive spiritual communion. The Church, being our Mother, offers us the Eucharistic Savior, just as our Mother Mary gave birth to the Lord and bore Him into the world.

Grace loves the hidden; silence loves simplicity; and in the silence of the heart the encounter with the Lord becomes fruitful. If we accept the divine invitations, we will become more and more like the Lord through adoration.

The Father wants to unfold His divine life in us, and we adore Him in communion with all those who are before the “Throne of the Lamb” – the angels and saints – as well as with all those who make up the purgative and militant Church.

It is very simple: the Lord is there in the Tabernacle, waiting to fill us “with every spiritual and heavenly good thing” (Eph 1:3).
