451st Meditation
“Now that I am giving you this light, remain in this light and carry it to everyone. It will be a powerful means to obtain conversions and even, if possible, to close the gates of hell” (Father’s message to Sister Eugenia Ravasio).
Our Father is doing everything to save us human beings. To see this, it is enough to look at His Son and His sacrifice on the Cross.
With His apparition to Mother Eugenia Ravasio, our Father has opened another door to His grace so that we may know Him and His love better. Indeed, a new light emanates from our Father’s message, linked to the promise that conversions will take place, as we also read in other passages of this message. In the words we hear today, the Father indicates that, if possible, He wants to close the gates of hell. Here we take up yesterday’s reflection.
Let us remember that our Father expressed His sorrow that so many souls are damned and go to hell with the demons. But He does not stop at expressing His sorrow, He tells us what we can do to prevent this, if possible. The “powerful means” for this is to bring His message to people, to live in the light He gives us and thus become reliable witnesses of His love. Let us pause for a moment to realise what it means that the Lord uses our witness to save souls from eternal damnation and that we can thus alleviate His pain. Who can resist the trust He places in us?
How easy the Lord makes it for us! This is what the Father continues to say after the words we heard at the beginning:
“I now repeat My promise, which will last for ever: All those who call me by the name of Father, even if only once, will not perish, but will be sure of their eternal life among the chosen ones”.
