Isa 29, 17-24
Is it not true that in a very short time the Lebanon will become productive ground, so productive you might take it for a forest? That day the deaf will hear the words of the book and, delivered from shadow and darkness, the eyes of the blind will see. The lowly will find ever more joy in Yahweh and the poorest of people will delight in the Holy One of Israel; for the tyrant will be no more, the scoffer has vanished and all those on the look-out for evil have been destroyed:
those who incriminate others by their words, those who lay traps for the arbitrator at the gate and groundlessly deprive the upright of fair judgement. That is why Yahweh, God of the House of Jacob, Abraham’s redeemer, says this, ‘No longer shall Jacob be disappointed, no more shall his face grow pale, for when he sees his children, my creatures, home again with him, he will acknowledge my name as holy, he will acknowledge the Holy One of Jacob to be holy and will hold the God of Israel in awe.
Again we hear a wonderful promise that is already fulfilled in faith in the Lord, but is still waiting for the complete fulfilment!
Is it not true that the eyes of those who were spiritually blind begin to see, that the deaf hear the word of the Lord, that the confused find the right way through the wisdom of the Holy Spirit, and that those who were rebellious are now obedient to the Lord?
So it has been fulfilled – just as the humiliated find their dignity in the Lord and no longer need to be slaves, and the poor possess their wealth in God!
What about the tyrant, the oppressor? He, too, is defeated in the Lord, even if he continues to rage on the earth “seeking whom he may devour”(1Pe 5,8). But in Christ he is overcome! The Lord has come to destroy the works of the devil (cf. 1Jn 3,8) and to establish the kingdom of God!
This victory, however, requires concrete realization, just as the promises mentioned begin to be fulfilled only by the living faith!
The victory against the forces of evil, which has already been accomplished in heaven, is now taking place on earth. This struggle is not only reserved for the angelic powers, but all believers are involved in this struggle.
Today I would ask our listeners to participate in a special concern, which is a realization of Christ’s victory over the tyrant.
Four exorcists have addressed the faithful and asked to pray and fast today, the 6th of December. They invite to draw attention to the fact that the events surrounding the Pachamama idolatry in the Vatican, the 4th of October 2019 (we have reported on this in detail; see http://en.elijamission.net/ 3-6 of November 2019), require special treatment.
In a statement, four exorcists, who wished to remain anonymous, called on Catholics to pray and make reparation through prayer, fasting, and abstinence for pagan rituals conducted at the Vatican. They stated: “These events bring home the reality that we are in spiritual warfare and that warfare is happening within the Church itself.”
The exorcists suggested praying the rosary; taking on some form of penance, such as fasting, abstinence, and other forms of mortification; and offering prayers to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. They also encouraged Catholics to make a Holy Hour in front of the Blessed Sacrament and attend Mass this Friday.
In their letter, the exorcists encouraged all Catholics who “recognize the evil of the events” to join them in offering prayers and penance to drive out “any diabolic influence within the Church that has been gained as a result of these recent events – along with any other events.”
The exorcists themselves will use their own authority to weaken the forces of evil, which are also becoming increasingly offensive in our holy Church.
Harpa Dei gladly agrees with this request and will sing the Apocalypse in Jerusalem on this day, in addition to the Friday fasting.
Within today’s meditation, we will send a first sung section of the Apocalypse in Spanish and will send the last two chapters in an extra chat. It would be nice if many could join in this intention on this special day. Maybe some would like to send us a small sign that they are involved and so we can see that there are more people who do not want simply to close the eyes because of such events.
We, from Harpa Dei, consider the initiatives of the four exorcists to be an important matter and are pleased that they have taken responsibility for the way of the Church.
A public act of persons of the hierarchy to explain a distance from these events on the 4th of October 2019, with the corresponding reparation, would significantly weaken the influence of demonic forces and stabilize the Church accordingly. A justification of the idolatry or a relativization and trivialization, on the other hand, supports those forces that initiated these idolatrous acts.
But an act such as this of the 6th of December will also be effective if it is not carried out publicly by the Hierarchy.
Thank God there are at least some voices from the hierarchy of the Church who have clearly condemned the Pachamama events or at least expressed their concern and criticism. These include: Cardinal Walter Brandmüller, Cardinal Raymond Burke, Cardinal Gerhard Müller, Cardinal Jorge Urosa Savino, Archbishop Viganò, Bishop Athanasius Schneider, Bishop José Luis Azcona Hermoso, Bishop Rudolf Voderholzer, and Bishop Marian Eleganti.
