“You, who only know the religion in which you have grown up, and that religion is not the true one, open your eyes. Here is your Father!” (Message from God the Father to Sister Eugenia Ravasio)
Our Father’s love does not exclude those who have not yet found their home in the Catholic Church. But neither does it leave them in the error of misunderstood tolerance or, worse still, in religious indifference—as if it did not matter which religion they belonged to. Rather, He addresses them with these words: “I come to you to bring you the truth and salvation.”
If we want to live as true children of our Heavenly Father, this must be the guiding principle of our missionary work. Who would not want everyone to know the love of their Father? Who would leave them in darkness when they have the opportunity to show them the way to the light?
True religion is a great gift that our Heavenly Father has entrusted to us, meant to be shared with all people. Only within it can the grace that God has prepared for humanity be fully unfolded. Therefore, if we have welcomed His tender love into our hearts and received the grace of belonging to the Holy Church, then we are called to go out with our Father in search of those who are not yet part of it. To hide the existence of the true Church from them would be to leave them in darkness—for although their religion may contain rays of truth, it also harbors many errors, much ignorance, and therefore dense shadows.
Let us help them open their eyes and recognize their Father, who loves them so deeply—even if we can do so only through our prayer and our hidden life of holiness. That is more than enough.
