Over the last few days, I have sought to echo the voice of our Heavenly Father through short passages from the Message addressed to Mother Eugenia Ravasio. I believe it is very important that, as far as it depends on us, we strive to fulfill His wishes without delay. In this reflection, I would like to address one of them, which will one day become a reality throughout the Church and the whole world:
“To be known, loved and honored with a special devotion, I do not ask for anything extraordinary. I desire that one day, or at least a Sunday, be dedicated to honoring Me in a special way under the title of Father of all Mankind. For this feast, I would like a special Mass and Office.” (Message from God the Father to Sister Eugenia Ravasio)
Since this liturgical feast has not yet been officially instituted, I ask priests, as far as possible, to celebrate a Mass in honor of the Holy Trinity every August 7, the date suggested by God the Father Himself. In addition, I cordially invite priests who follow the ancient rite to celebrate this form on several occasions throughout the year, whenever the calendar allows for free choice.
In response to our Heavenly Father’s request to be honored with a liturgical Office, what we call the “Office to God the Father” has emerged in our community.
You can find a version sung by Harpa Dei in Spanish at the following link: (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M30xBHq-jZU&t=70s).
Without a doubt, our Father will be pleased with such gestures. In this way, His wishes begin to be fulfilled, at least partially. Thanks be to God, there are also other initiatives promoting the establishment of a Feast in honor of God the Father.
