Let’s imagine this in concrete terms:
Every morning, “His Majesty”—as St. Teresa of Avila called the Lord—is already waiting for His earthly child, never having taken His loving gaze away during the night. As soon as man awakens and turns to the Father, divine love is activated to welcome him. Once awake, man can respond consciously and begin the journey through the day hand in hand with his Father. This is the day planned by God from all eternity! His love will extend its influence to every area of our lives, to the extent we allow it. Nothing will be excluded! If we make more and more room for Him, then each new day becomes an opportunity to grow in love. Our Father will delight in us more and more. He will feel at home. He will be able to count on us. He can now carry out His plans of love with and through us.
That is how our Father is!
