“Pray to Me, so that I will be able to accomplish My work of love in all souls” (Message from God the Father to Sister Eugenia Ravasio).
This is undoubtedly one of the most important prayers we can offer to our Father if He has called us to cooperate in the work of His love. Although He primarily addresses priests and religious here, to whom He has entrusted a special task by virtue of their vocation, all His children can fulfill this request. By doing so, we participate in the great work of His love, allowing it to reach the whole world and spread His light. Indeed, all people should know, honor, and love their Heavenly Father—and with this knowledge come many promises!
It is moving that our Father addresses each of us personally. This should motivate us to include this intention in our prayers and become active collaborators in His work. We will be the first to be blessed if we render this holy service, because the Father’s love is not only directed toward us in asking for a favor, but at the same time, it makes us grow in love. And what could be more important than growing in love, letting God’s love permeate our lives, and becoming messengers of His peace?
Today, we are offered a simple path: fulfilling our Father’s request and making His intentions our own. If we care about our Father’s intentions, He will care even more about everything that concerns our lives. By responding to His request, grace finds its way to us, making us more receptive to the desires of our Father’s heart. This is how love grows!
