OUR FATHER BRINGS PEACE

“I have come to bring peace with this work of love.” (Message from God the Father to Sister Eugenia Ravasio)

Our Father is referring here to true peace: peace with Him, with others, and with ourselves.

This becomes clear when we understand what this peace consists of—peace that, as Jesus teaches us, only God can give, not as the world gives it (Jn 14:27).

First and foremost, peace with God brings peace to everything else. When we tenderly invoke Him by the name “Father,” as He desires, something of the trusting relationship that man had with God in paradise is restored, and a first ray of peace falls upon our often wounded and mistreated soul. Our Father can repair—and even increase—what we lost through the fall into sin.

With this background, we can grasp the importance of God the Father’s message to Mother Eugenia Ravasio, as He Himself conveyed it to the Pope of that time: This work should rank first among all your tasks.”

When the peace of the Lord penetrates our hearts, we also become capable of living in peace with others, insofar as it depends on us. By becoming true children of our Heavenly Father, we cannot allow ourselves to be sowers of discord; rather, the peace of God must find more and more room within us. He pacifies our inner being, drives away the accuser, and reconciles us with ourselves so that we cease to be our own enemies. Indeed, this ray of peace that God sends into our soul is His love, which sets to work to bring us into proper relationship with our Father and remove everything that stands in the way.

Therefore, I cordially invite you to deeply assimilate this message from our Father, so that we may understand its scope, depth, and the greatness of this work. True peace will reign in the world only when people recognize God as their most loving Father and obey Him together. Everything else will follow!
