“This light will lighten the ways which lead to the true Catholic Church for its poor children who are still victims of superstition” (Message from God the Father to Sister Eugenia Ravasio).
Once again, we hear a phrase from the Message to Mother Eugenia Ravasio in which our Father clearly points out the unique position of the Catholic Church. Enlightened by the Heavenly Father’s light, humanity must find the path that leads to the Church He gave us through His Son. We must listen carefully when our Father speaks of the “true Church.” This truth of faith can be lost if we cease following the guidance of the Holy Spirit and allow ourselves to be led astray by human reasoning or deception. If it is the true Church, it undoubtedly means that within it is found the fullness of truth that the Father grants us on our journey toward eternity. Many pass it by; others relativize its existence; some perceive it only partially; and still others live immersed in the darkness of error.
We see that our Father considers everyone. Although priests and religious are called in a special way to live and act in the light of His work of love, this same light also illuminates the pilgrim, the skeptic, and the ignorant. Without mincing words, the Lord tells us: “This light will illumine you all, o men who live in this world of darkness and vice. If you did not have My light, you would fall into the abyss of eternal death!”
Thus, those who welcome the Message of our Heavenly Father and strive to live according to it become bearers of His light and can help guide people to the true faith and the Holy Church.
As someone who has the joy of writing these “3 Minutes for Abba” every day, I am convinced that this message is a great grace that God offers humanity in such a delicate way. The Family of Abba, gathered around devotion to God the Father, will agree with me, and each of its members will contribute in their own way to professing the true faith in times of great confusion and to making the Heavenly Father known as the most discreet confidant. Religious families are also invited to cultivate this special relationship with the Heavenly Father and receive His blessings. They can be assured that they will receive the reward that only our Father can give!
