“Since I have created man, he must live from me. My love gives him life at every moment” (Father’s message to Sister Eugenia Ravasio).
Unfortunately, it is becoming more and more common for people to deceive themselves that they can live without God, ignoring or even denying Him. In this way they remain blind both to the world of God and to the deeper dimension of earthly existence.
In reality, the whole of creation tells the story of the Father’s love, so that people can know Him through it, even if they do not yet know the divine revelation of true faith. St Paul tells us: “Ever since the creation of the world his invisible nature, namely, his eternal power and deity, has been clearly perceived in the things that have been made” (Rom 1:20).
We know that there are many substitutes which hinder and even block the knowledge of the truth for men. As a result, they do not see the loving hand of our Father in everything.
How their eyes would be opened if they could see the reality of His existence! They would see that a loving Father has brought all things to life, including themselves, and has imbued them with something great that comes from Him: the spirit, the soul, so that when a person is born into this world, they carry within them the treasure that comes from their Father and makes them like Him.
Then they would realise that we cannot live for a moment without His love. Everything vague and uncertain in life would cease and people would begin to see their lives through the eyes of God.
Above all, gratitude would awaken in their hearts, blindness would disappear and the light of our Father’s love would show them the sure path of life. May all people know this!
