INCLINE YOUR EAR

Incline your ear, and come to me; hear, that your soul may live (Isaiah 55:3).

This depends on our ability to listen attentively so that we receive what the Father has to offer. Inclining our ears means wanting to listen with our hearts, knowing exactly what the living Father has to say to us, and exploring His intentions by coming to Him with complete trust and understanding. In this way, true life arises because an exchange of love takes place. He, our Father who speaks, is love, and the one who is to listen—man—was brought into being by this love.

God’s breath gives us life; His holy word gives us supernatural light and life. When we completely incline our ear to Him, we close it to the siren sounds of this world and to everything that does not align with the love of our Father. In this way, we absorb more and more of our Father’s love, and our souls are nourished. We live!

The food of the Word becomes more and more delicious; the ear hears the voice of the Lord more clearly and distinguishes it from other voices. The heart becomes lighter and filled with joy in God and in truth. The love within us grows stronger!

All we have to do is come and remember to take the time to listen to our Father. Our Father wants to communicate with us, speak to our hearts, and give us His divine life at all times. It also depends on us how much God’s grace can live in us and flow to others, so that they may hear, come to God, and live!
