“IN FULL UNION WITH THE FATHER”

“For Me it is a very fitting way of living…in the souls of all those in a state of grace

[through My Holy Spirit](Message of God the Father to Sister Eugenia Ravasio).

What unspeakable grace is divine indwelling, of which we should become more aware every day: the Father and the Son have sent us the Holy Spirit to dwell in our souls, illuminating them with His light and adorning them with His gifts. Let us try to imagine the joy God experiences in a soul that cooperates with His grace. It must be a delight for our Father, just as He was pleased to see the work of His creation, and especially human beings. The simple fact that we can be the cause of such joy for God is reason enough to leave behind all lukewarmness and live to please Him. What a strong and at the same time sweet helper the Father sends us to dwell in our souls!

“When you unite yourself to the Holy Spirit, He pours out upon you the grace of adoption as a child of God, makes your soul more and more a participant in the divine life, and binds you ever more closely to Himself in a growing communion with the Father and the Son, so that, as Jesus said, “we may be perfect in unity” (Jn 17:23). (Fr Gabriel of St Mary Magdalene, Divine Intimacy).

This is how Sister Carmela of the Holy Spirit prays:

“Make me docile and willing to follow your promptings. Do not allow me to ignore a single one of them and help me to always be faithful to you. Make me more and more recollected, silent, submissive to your divine guidance and receptive to your divine touches. Lead me to the most intimate part of my heart, where you have established your throne, O kind divine guest, and teach me to watch constantly in prayer.”
