155th Meditation
“I sent My Son to them. He was adorned with all the divine perfections be-cause He was the Son of a perfect God. It was He Who showed them the ways to perfection. Through Him I adopted you in My infinite love, as real children” (Father’s message to Sister Eugenia Ravasio).
To be true children of God… There are no longer any limits on the part of our Father. We are no longer considered only as His creatures, but, thanks to the Redemption that the Son of God attained for us, we become children and co-heirs with Christ (Rom 8:17).
Our Father draws us to Himself to the extent that we allow Him to do so. As children of God, we are called to witness to His love and to glorify the Heavenly Father with our whole life.
The vocation of being children of God is an immeasurable grace, of which we become more aware every day. It is the divine inheritance that the Father prepares for His children. God gives us the grace to drink from the love of His Heart, to live day by day in His paternal goodness and to cooperate so that all humanity may awaken to love and to their true vocation.
In another part of the Message, our heavenly Father laments that many people go through life without finding a trusting relationship with Him. They have not come to understand the love and help He gives them day after day.
What suffering! On God’s part, it is the suffering of unrequited love; on man’s part, it is the suffering of a life without finding its deepest meaning in God’s true love.
What can we, as true children, do? What we can do is to offer the Lord even greater trust and put it seriously into practice, day after day.
We must never tire of praying for all humankind and of doing what is in our power to help them recognize the true light. The Lord will reward us!
