“And you who are in the true light, tell them how sweet it is to live in the truth!” (Father’s message to Sr. Eugenia Ravasio).
Our Father always has in mind the salvation of all, who are called to live in such a way that the meaning of their existence is fulfilled completely and that they experience “how sweet it is to live in the truth”. Therefore, it is not surprising that our Father encourages His own to transmit the truth to others, especially to those who are still trapped in darkness.
To be filled by the radiance and beauty of the Lord’s truth is what our soul longs for. God Himself planted in the heart of every person the longing for Him. Although we may not consciously notice it, deep down we seek the truth.
Our Father knows very well how far from the truth we often live and knows how many errors, darknesses and hardenings have penetrated into our lives.
Throughout Father’s Message to Mother Eugenia we encounter His great tenderness. Again and again He declares to us how much He loves us, as if we had completely forgotten it and He would have to remind us of it incessantly so that it would not be erased from our memory. For our Father there is nothing more important than to make us understand this reality, so that it awakens in us that trust which is part of a true relationship with God.
Our Father asks us to bear witness to the sweetness of the truth, to bring it to people with our lives and our words, to let the richness of faith shine through… People must be attracted by the radiance of the truth, so that their deep longing may be awakened. The truth will set them free (Jn 8:32) and drive away error.
This is a great desire of our Father, and we can do our part to make it come true.
