All people must realise that they have a most loving Father. This is the objective reality on which their lives are founded. Only by internalising this truth can they awaken to the fullness of life (cf. Jn 10:10b).
It is the Heavenly Father who can heal all our wounds and make us discover the loving meaning of our existence by making Himself known to us. Herein lies man’s true happiness!
Indeed, this divine love is always there. It was it who created us and redeemed us, and it is he who wants to lead our lives to the perfection of love.
This love is still there, even when we do not feel it and our life seems to be in the dark. God always offers us this love!
If we knew how much the Father loves us, happiness would dwell permanently in the depths of our being, granting us the peace that only God can give (Jn 14:27).
Although God’s love involves all people, it is especially addressed to those who need it most. The Father expresses it this way in His Message to Mother Eugenia:
“May everyone recognize My infinite goodness towards all men, and especially towards sinners, the sick, the dying, and all those who suffer. Let them know that I want only one thing: to love them all, to give them My grace, to forgive them when they repent and, most of all, to judge them not with My justice but with My mercy, so that all may be saved and numbered among My elect.”
How afflicted are the sick, who are in particular need of love; the dying, who will soon stand before the Throne of God and require loving accompaniment and care! But, in particular, God’s love seeks sinners, who are in danger of failing the meaning of their life and even of damnation for all eternity. They are in such need of salvation!
