“Now this love has been forgotten. I want to remind you of it, so that you can learn to know Me as I am” (Message from God the Father to Sister Eugenia Ravasio).
The Heavenly Father spoke these words after explaining to Mother Eugenia how His love has constantly sought out humanity, always offering them His love and friendship. However, humanity has rejected this love countless times and begun creating its own laws according to its vices and for its own convenience. Fear of the Heavenly Father contributed to people forgetting Him. Since the prophets God sent could not reach the hearts of the people, He Himself came to us in the person of His Son.
There was no other motivation for Our Father but love. And it is this love that He wants to remind us of, for it has not been exhausted. Our Father has said “Yes” to our existence and repeats it countless times in the most diverse situations. Indeed, we live from and in this “Yes.” Only when this “Yes” penetrates deeply into our hearts and takes root in our faith will we truly know God. Then, all false images of Our Father will dissipate.
This divine “Yes” is a never-ending source as long as we do not turn away from God and permanently close ourselves off to the life that comes from Him.
From this source flows the living water of God’s Word. The blood of the Crucified One is poured out upon us for the forgiveness of our sins, and all of the Lord’s good gifts fill our natural and supernatural life. In all this, God’s “Yes” is manifested, which is irrevocable and calls for our loving response.
This is Our Father!
