DISPEL CONFUSION IN THE HEART OF GOD

“Never let yourself become confused, and keep your heart in Me” (Inner Word).

Many things, both inside and outside of us, seek to confuse and disturb us. On the one hand, this is due to a certain disorder in our soul and to various impressions that seek to influence it, which we have not sufficiently discerned. On the other hand, it also comes from the devil, who is rightly called the great confuser. He likes to take advantage of the potential for confusion already present in our soul to increase it further.

Therefore, we must be vigilant and remain grounded in the truth of Sacred Scripture and the authentic doctrine of the Church. We must hold fast to them, because confusing teachings can arise even within the Church, which is particularly tragic.

The most important thing is to maintain the inner connection with our Father that He offers us. In this way, He can connect us to Himself in the depths of our souls so that His presence grants us steadfast peace and clarity. No matter what happens or what tries to lead us astray from our path, His Heart is always our safe refuge.

Therefore, we are called to open our hearts unreservedly to the Lord, especially when we are confused, and to remain in Him. In the Message to Mother Eugenia, our Father explains that He is like an “ocean of love” in which we can immerse ourselves when our lives have fallen into disorder. He will then restore our peace, and the confusion will dissipate, whether it is just beginning to arise or has already taken root in our souls.

It is best always to remain united to the Heart of our Father and to order everything in Him so that confusion finds no opening through which to slip, but is forced to yield to a holy and orderly love.
