The possibilities offered by the Lord on our path of following Christ in order to heal our souls more and more are a lot. The path of sanctification to which we are called wants to lead us into complete communion with God, which will be finished in eternity. When our wounded soul is totally healed and transformed, there is nothing left to separate us from God. We are fully united with Him in love and we see God as he is. This is what we will experience in the community with the Angels and all those people who are in the glory of heaven. Man fulfills his eternal destiny.

With the faith, the healing word of God, the forgiveness of sins and the healing power of the sacraments, man is increasingly called out of his lostness into the proximity of God, and Gods healing and strengthening presence in the soul of man unfold the new life of God in him. This new life, which now re-creates the image of God in man, needs daily food so that it can grow and mature. God gives us this food in the ways we have already considered and it is nourished in particular by a life of prayer.

We have been invited in the past few days to deepen the trust in God, to honor and love him – to enter into a more intimate friendship with him.

The most beautiful thing we can give our father is our sincere love. We have heard at the beginning of our reflections that Jesus tells us: “He who has my commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves me” (Jn. 14:21). This is the necessary and lasting response, so that the love of our Father can not only call us , but also penetrate us.

God deserves honor, praise and glory, as the New Testament so wonderfully says (cf. Rev. 5:12).
If we could take a look at the heavens and see how much the angels and saints, who are fully sharing the loving communion with God, honor our Heavenly Father, then our attitude towards God would be penetrated with deeper love and honor.
How can we better honor our Father on Earth or at least try it?
