Throughout the Christmas Octave, together with the Heavenly Father, we contemplate the Child of Bethlehem, the One sent by the Father. Therefore, instead of the usual “3 minutes for Abba”, we invite you to listen to and watch the Christmas meditations of Br. Elias every day: http://en.elijamission.net

NO ONE COULD HAVE IMAGINED…
The birth of the Son of God is just at the door, and our hearts are preparing to join in the angels’ song of joy…
Indeed, the joy of the angels announcing the birth of the Saviour fills the whole earth (cf. Lk 2:8-14). No one could have imagined that the Father would choose this way to come among men. No one could even have imagined that God’s love would be revealed in this way: in the Saviour’s coming into the world.
THE KING OF OUR HEARTS
“No one has ever seen God; the only Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, he has made him known” (Jn 1:18).
How can we ever thank our Father enough for revealing Himself to us through His beloved Son? We will have all eternity to do so, and our gratitude will never be extinguished.
GOD RENEWS HIS LOVE
“God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life” (Jn 3:16).
The feast of the Nativity of our Lord is fast approaching. He is the incomparable gift that our Heavenly Father gives to this world, which finds it so difficult to recognize the love of God revealed to it: “The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it” (Jn 1:5).
THE SPIRIT ALWAYS CALLS AND DRAWS US
“The Spirit and the Bride say, “Come.” And let him who hears say, “Come.” And let him who is thirsty come, let him who desires take the water of life without price (…). Amen. Come, Lord Jesus” (Rev 22:17, 20b).
OUR HEAVENLY FUTURE
“I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Behold, the dwelling of God is with men. He will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself will be with them. And he who sat upon the throne said, “Behold, I make all things new”” (Rev 21:3,5).
THE LAST JUDGMENT
“I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Also another book was opened, which is the book of life. And the dead were judged by what was written in the books, by what they had done” (Rev 20:12).
REJOICE AT THE FALL OF THE KINGDOM OF DARKNESS
“And the angel called out with a mighty voice: ‘Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great!’ (…) Rejoice over her, O heaven, O saints and apostles and prophets, for God has given judgment for you against her!” (Rev 18:2,20).
YOUR JUDGMENTS ARE TRUE AND JUST
“I heard what seemed to be the loud voice of a great multitude in heaven, crying, ‘Hallelujah! Salvation and glory and power belong to our God, for his judgments are true and just; he has judged the great harlot who corrupted the earth with her fornication’” (Rev 19:1-2).
THE VICTORS OVER THE BEAST
“I saw another angel, (…) he said with a loud voice, ‘Fear God and give him glory, for the hour of his judgment has come; and worship him who made heaven and earth, the sea and the fountains of water’” (Rev 14:6-7).
