CARRY ALL PEOPLE IN YOUR HEART

“Carry all people in your heart and bring them to Me.” (Inner Word)

How is it possible to fulfill this word? We need only think of our Heavenly Father. He carries all people in His heart and knows them all by name. Without a doubt, He wants to save them all and lead them home to Himself. To this end, He sent His Son.

We humans can do very little on our own and cannot love as God does, who is Love itself.

But do we recognize the bridge we can cross to come closer to the word above? Our Father wants to establish His throne in our hearts and remain there forever. If we live and remain in a state of grace, then Love itself dwells in us—Love that is able to carry all people in our hearts.

When this Love permeates us and takes deeper and deeper possession of us, when we hear and obey what the Holy Spirit tells us, then it can grow within us and become the motivation for our whole life.

In the Father’s Little Book, God lets us understand: “I am holiness, and I possess it in its perfection and fullness. Through My Holy Spirit and through the merits of My Son, I pass on to you the holiness of which I am the author.”

Now it becomes understandable: the transformation of our hearts allows the love of God to reign in us. In this way, our encounters with people will be increasingly marked by His love. We bring all those we meet into our prayers to the Father. In this way, they gain a place in our hearts. We also include in our prayers all those we hear about or learn about indirectly. Our love does not have to end there, but can even extend to all humanity: to those who are alive, to those who are still in purgatory, and to those who are yet to come.
