“Tell them, finally, that I will not abandon them in the sorrows of life, alone and without merit.” (Message from God the Father to Sister Eugenia Ravasio)
Isn’t it true that it is precisely in difficult times that we most need a friend to support us? On a human level, we don’t always find someone who can help us. In fact, some difficulties are so complex and deeply rooted in our being that, no matter how much goodwill or experience a person has, they may never be able to provide the crucial help we need.
However, our Heavenly Father assures us that He not only knows our needs but also comes to our aid. He does not abandon us to darkness, despair, or helplessness. No—our Father takes charge of the situation. Above all, He lets us know that we are not alone. He teaches us how to respond appropriately to the difficulties we face and how to trust in Him. This may be a struggle for us, but God intervenes precisely here. If we trust in our Father, He can turn our sorrows into merits.
Isn’t this certainty sweet?
“Let them come to me! I will help them. I will lighten their burden,” our Father continues in the message to Sister Eugenia.
Reading these words, who does not remember Jesus’ phrase: “Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” (Mt 11:28)? The key is to truly turn to our Father and know that He is waiting for us to approach Him and abandon ourselves to Him. Often, we rely more on our own strength or human means. However, these are not enough—and if they prevent us from turning to the Lord and accepting His invitation, they can even become the main obstacle to finding the true solution.
If we turn to the Lord, He can—and wants to—show us a way out. The burden becomes lighter because our Father has taken it upon Himself.
Isn’t this certainty sweet?
This is how our Father is!
