What is at stake is the heart of man! To whom does it belong?

Our Heavenly Father wants to dwell in our heart and make it receptive to His love, which He unceasingly offers us. To abide means to stop and not to continue immediately to a next activity. We could also say “enjoy”. We should not pause and become stuck on earthly things. If we did, we would give them an importance that does not correspond to them and we ourselves would not obtain any real benefit, for our soul would not be filled with what it deeply longs for. To such an extent does our Father want to be united with us! Let us never forget that the love relationship between God and humanity is a love story.
