THE WISHES OF OUR HEAVENLY FATHER

407th Meditation

Every August 7, we celebrate in our community and with the Abba Family the Feast of God the Father under the name: “Father of all Mankind”. In preparation for this Feast, we will start tomorrow a novena, which for the next nine days will replace the “3 minutes for Abba”.

I am happy that in the meantime these daily reflections on God the Father have reached a good number of people in various countries. The “3 Minutes for Abba” are intended to spread the veneration of God the Father and also to work towards the goal that His Feast be established and celebrated first in the Church and then in the whole of humanity. For this reason, I would like to quote below some passages from the “Message of the Father to Sister Eugenia Ravasio” in which He expresses His desire that such a Feast be established. I commend this great desire of His to your prayers. After August 7, we will resume the “3 minutes for Abba” as usual.

“My time has come! It is necessary that I be known, loved and honored by men, so that, after having created them, I may be their Father, then their Savior and finally the cause of their eternal happiness.”

“I would like to see great trust established between man and his heavenly Father, a true spirit of familiarity and delicacy at the same time, so as not to take advantage of My great goodness.”

“If only you knew how much I desire to be known, loved and honoured by men with a special devotion! I have had this desire for all eternity and since the creation of the first man.”

“To be known, loved and honoured with a special devotion, I do not ask for anything extraordinary. I desire only this: I desire that one day, or at least a Sunday, be dedicated to honouring Me in a special way under the title of Father of all Mankind. For this feast, I would like a special Mass and Office. It is not difficult to find the texts in the Holy Scriptures. If you prefer to offer Me this special devotion on a Sunday, I choose the first Sunday of August. If you prefer a weekday, I would like it to be always the seventh day of that same month.”
