Before I go into the topic, I would like to say a few words about our mission: Harpa Dei and I have returned safely from a fruitful apostolic trip to Brazil and Argentina. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all those who daily follow the “3 Minutes for Abba” for their prayers. It was a joy to meet people in both countries who often listen to these meditations. I hope that in the future they will be spread even more for the glory of our Heavenly Father and for the good of souls. The next step would be to begin translating them into French.
Let us now listen to the inner word on which we will meditate today:
“Go forward with great confidence. My love is stronger than all your weaknesses” (Inner Word).
Our Father invites us to advance in our spiritual journey with great trust in Him. To advance spiritually always means to grow in love. Therefore, the most important thing is not the visible successes, but the transformation of our heart.
In fact, our Father does not look first at our weaknesses, but at our heart. He certainly does not trivialize weaknesses, but He wants us to work sincerely to overcome them and not to voluntarily submit to them. But the Lord does not bind us to them, lest we become trapped. Above all, our Father does not want us to despair in the face of our weaknesses.
That is why we are called to lift up our eyes to Him with confidence. It is His love that strengthens us and is always ready to pull us out of everything that could separate us from Him. We can count on it! Thus, as the Father encourages us, we will be able to continue our journey with great confidence, knowing that we are safe in His love.
