THE KING OF OUR HEARTS

“No one has ever seen God; the only Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, he has made him known” (Jn 1:18).

How can we ever thank our Father enough for revealing Himself to us through His beloved Son? We will have all eternity to do so, and our gratitude will never be extinguished.

In the message to Mother Eugenia, our Heavenly Father states:

“According to My will, He became the Word Incarnate and came among you to make known to you the One Who sent Him. If you come to know Me, you will love Me and My beloved Son more than you do now”.

How far our heavenly Father has come down to us and drawn near to us! Let us just contemplate the tenderness of the birth of the Son of God!

Who can resist the charm of this Child who came to make the Father known to us and to redeem humanity? Who can look at this Child and not give Him his heart? Who can close his eyes to the beauty of this divine presence?

Later, the disciples will see Him, the Invisible, with their physical eyes. So St. John exclaims with amazement in his Gospel:

“And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, full of grace and truth; we have beheld his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father” (Jn 1:14).

How far our Father’s love reaches! He seeks to make Himself known to each person, and what better way to make Himself known than by coming into our midst in the person of His Son made man?

When we look for the Child in the manger and give Him our heart, we give it to our Father with great simplicity and humility. Let this Child reign in our hearts! We will never be able to escape His charm! We will never want to distance ourselves from Him! May His love always melt the layer of ice that surrounds our hearts and may we always show Him our love! This Child is the King of our hearts!
